Background

Patricia recently retired from her position of Director of Quality Systems and Compliance with a major US producer of eggs and egg products. With over 15 years in the poultry industry she now serves as part of the University of Minnesota’s Secure Poultry Supply team focusing her energies on Risk Assessments and Industry Outreach. Pat holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a Master’s from Central Michigan University. In addition she is a Certified Quality Auditor, a Certified Safe Quality Food Practitioner and a Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence.

Prior to her retirement, Pat was active in numerous organizations including the American Egg Board, United Egg Association, United Egg Producers, United States Animal Health Association, Minnesota Animal Emergency Management Committee, National Poultry Improvement Plan, Wisconsin AgroSecurity Resource Network, Wisconsin’s Animal Emergency Management Committee, and the Wisconsin Poultry and Egg Industries Association. Pat is one of the founding members of the coalition of government, industry and academia group whose efforts has produced the nationally recognized Secure Egg Supply program. She continues to be an active supporter of the Secure Poultry supply programs.
