We work with onsite collaborators to develop realistic tabletop exercises of a foreign animal disease outbreak. At the exercise, producers and regulatory officials are assigned to tables that represent individual premises. Within the simulated outbreak, premises have additional conditions that create a scenario within a scenario framework. From this virtual situation, participants then discuss and implement response protocols, including permitted movement of products, giving them the opportunity to practice response.
