Abigail’s work focuses on strategic communication efforts. During her time with the Secure Food Systems Team she has helped to develop and publish the Secure Food Systems, Secure Poultry Supply, Secure Egg Supply, Secure Broiler Supply, Secure Turkey Supply, and Secure Upland Game Bird Supply websites. Her prior work at the University of Minnesota was as manager of translation and dissemination for the Preparedness and Emergency Response Research Center program at the School of Public Health. She has held previous roles in Corporate Sustainability Reporting at Chiquita Brands and in Operations for Carlson Hotels Group. Her interests include sustainable agriculture and helping farmers and food producers build successful businesses.
